Enrichment Dog Daycare FAQs
Why does my dog need Enrichment?
Because dogs—like people—need more than just play! Not all dogs want to romp all day. Enrichment offers a mental workout, individualized attention, and confidence-building. It’s a perfect balance to high-energy daycare play.
Is Enrichment right for my dog?
Whether your pup is shy, spunky, old, or young—dogs thrive with loving one-on-one interaction. They’ll enjoy toys, learn new skills, and soak up all the praise and attention they deserve.
What if my dog doesn’t like playing with others?
No problem! Our Enrichment can be entirely one-on-one with a trained staff member. They’ll play, learn, and explore without the pressure of group interaction.
Is Enrichment safe for senior dogs?
Yes! Older pups still crave attention and love engaging activities like nose work, gentle puzzles, and obedience refreshers—all at a comfortable pace.
Can puppies join too?
Of course! Enrichment is perfect for puppies. It’s a safe, structured way to explore the world, meet new people, and build confidence with support from their human guide.
Why is there an added cost?
Enrichment requires trained staff, specialized equipment, and time dedicated to your dog alone. It’s a premium service with premium benefits—and the value speaks for itself when you see your pup’s tail wag!
How do I sign up?
Spots are limited and fill quickly! Reservations are required for Monday–Friday sessions. You can request a slot in advance or check for last-minute openings.
How is Enrichment different from regular Daycare?
Lunch time Enrichments are a great add on to our Standard Daycare to provide some extra engagement during the midday break. Barkacademy Enrichment Daycare is a whole separate program that provides interactive sessions with personalized activities that are designed to cover all five types of enrichment plus plenty of one-on-one attention. If they’re dog-friendly they can also join in daycare play time! And yes—you’ll receive a Barkacademy Report Card highlighting what your dog learned and loved and photos and videos of the fun!
