Scent Sleuths
Doggie Recruits will have fun and practice nose work by following scent trails, discovering scent clues, and learning to use and enhance their natural sniffing abilities.
Smarty Paws
Recruits will learn skills and tricks and engage their mind with puzzles and brain games.
Ruff-N-Ready
Super dog-sleuths will increase their physical fitness, balance, and confidence with Fit Paws, agility obstacles, and more!
Snack Lab
Recruits will use their natural instincts to both stimulate their senses and relax their mind and body with food-based enrichment including a variety of new tastes, new textures, and new challenges.
Team Building
Recruits will have fun participating in positive socialization with dogs or people, toys or cuddles, and will experience new situations in a controlled environment.

Why does my dog need Enrichment?
Because dogs—like people—need more than just play! Not all dogs want to romp all day. Enrichment offers a mental workout, individualized attention, and confidence-building. It’s a perfect balance to high-energy daycare play.
Is Enrichment right for my dog?

What if my dog doesn’t like playing with others?
No problem! Our Enrichment can be entirely one-on-one with a trained staff member. They’ll play, learn, and explore without the pressure of group interaction.
Is Enrichment safe for senior dogs?

Can puppies join too?

Enrichment requires trained staff, specialized equipment, and time dedicated to your dog alone. It’s a premium service with premium benefits—and the value speaks for itself when you see your pup’s tail wag!
How do I sign up?
Spots are limited and fill quickly! Reservations are required for Monday–Friday sessions. You can request a slot in advance or check for last-minute openings.
How is Enrichment different from regular Daycare?
Lunch time Enrichments are a great add on to Standard Daycare to provide some extra engagement during the midday break. Barkacademy Enrichment Daycare is a whole separate program that provides interactive sessions with personalized activities that are designed to cover all five types of enrichment plus plenty of one-on-one attention. If they’re dog-friendly they can also join in daycare play time! And yes—you’ll receive a Barkacademy Report Card highlighting what your dog learned and loved and photos and videos of the fun!
